It seams like Acer has plans to launch a ultra-thin notebook. This notebook will future a touch keyboard and will use the back of the pane’s glass as cover.
Acer will use Corning’s (Corning Incorporated is the world leader in specialty glass and ceramics) reinforced glass substrate to print color on its back and allow the substrate to function like a cover for a frameless design.
The design will help reduce the thickness of the notebook and can also reduce material costs.
Because the keyboard is design as touch keyboard, this piece of technology is going to be very thin also.
